Watson is a new model of higher education in Boulder, Colorado for student innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs aged 18-23 that includes short master courses from the world’s foremost leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers including a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people and more; intensive mentorship; and training in the entrepreneurial skills of empathy, creativity, resilience, grit, bootstrapping, team building and fundraising.

Watson helps students develop and advance solutions to the toughest challenges facing the world. Students can come to Watson for either a semester or a 3 year accredited Bachelor’s of Science in Entrepreneurship through our collaboration with Lynn University.

Each Watson semester is an intensive fifteen week program in which scholars receive weekly mentorship and coaching sessions, free international legal support (through a partnership with Thomson Reuters), training in the hard skills and frameworks to take their ideas to the next level, and a community of peers that will last far beyond Watson.  We aim to be the Olympic training ground for next generation changemakers and you can expect the experience to be both challenging and fun.

Requirements:

  • Watson encourage teams of students working on the same idea to apply as a team. Watson is an incubator for changemakers of all kinds.
  • Watson encourage a diversity of changemakers in each class, knowing that to solve the toughest problems facing the world a broad spectrum of solutions are crucial.

Tuition

Full tuition to Watson is $12,000 per semester. Housing on our campus located at Chautauqua National Historic Park is approximately $3,000*. Watson offers full and partial scholarships in addition to an income sharing option (see below).

Degree track tuition: For those on the Lynn University degree track, additional tuition of $800/course is paid to Lynn for core courses. Thus, the Watson degree is radically more affordable than the average American college degree, yet highly personalized and tailored to next generation innovators and entrepreneurs.
