Eligibility to Apply

Admissions Process:
The admissions application process consists of two parts. Part 1 takes place online and requires an applicant to fill out personal information and respond to essay questions. Part 2 takes place offline, and consists of sending all of the required documents to UoPeople’s Office of Admissions by post.
Once UoPeople receives the complete application, it will be processed for the next available term. There are five terms a year with UoPeople that you may apply to. You may see important dates, including the Admissions to the University cut-off day (when all documents need to have been received to be considered for a specific term) on the 2013-2014 Academic Calendar: http://www.uopeople.org/

UoPeople has succeeded in cutting down almost the entire cost of higher education. In order to remain sustainable, UoPeople asks students to cover an application processing fee ($10-$50), as well as the cost of processing exams at $100 per end-of course exam. There are no other fees. If you are unable to pay all or part of this amount and you are accepted at UoPeople, you may apply for a scholarship.
