Unilever Nigeria’s Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassadors Program is providing working experience opportunities for Graduates and Undergraduates alike. Unilever Nigeria is one of the leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies in Nigeria operating in various sectors including Personal Care and Nutrition. Duration: 1 Year
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Working hours: 8am – 5pm (Mondays – Fridays)

FUCAP HR intern

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good stakeholder management, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Project Management.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
  • Must be social media savvy.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Available to work fulltime for the duration of 1 year

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in scheduling FUCAP meetings, prepare meeting materials, and manage meeting actions.
  • Manage the Unilever Early Careers social media accounts, oversee creation of flyers for events/ internships, draft content for social media posts.
  • Oversee the Unilever Early Careers Email and monthly global Newsletter.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements for the project.
  • Managing administrative processes, communication and correspondences.
  • Manage project budget and transaction reconciliations.
  • Manage both internal and external stakeholders on project.

Supply Chain Planning intern

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse inventory levels and forecast demand to determine material requirements for all production facilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and procurement, to prioritize material orders based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the supply chain while adhering to Unilever’s ethical sourcing guidelines.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis to support decision-making processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to anticipate potential material shortages or price fluctuations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, Unilever’s policies, and quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production related environment.
  •  Proficiency in inventory management and business-related applications including ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in supply chain management.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have a passion for high performance.
  • Available to work fulltime for the duration of 1 year.

FUCAP-STEM internship program

Program Highlights:

  • Work on a business case study and submit a presentation showcasing your findings and solutions.
