Applications are now open for the 2025 Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Young Professionals Programme. The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) announces the start of application for the second edition of its Young Professionals Programme for 2025, which is an opportunity for young talents to spend 24 months of professional training at one of ICESCO’s Sectors, Departments or Specialized Centers, at the Organization’s Headquarters, in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.
This Programme falls within ICESCO’s new vision and strategic orientations, which fosters young people’s visions, strengthen their capacities and develops their leadership and professional skills to build a responsible and professional generation and upgrade the fields of education, science and culture in the Islamic world.
Eligibility Requirements
To join the second edition of ICESCO Young Professionals Programme, the candidate must:
• Be a citizen of one of ICESCO Member States;
• Have less than 35 years of age at the application start date;
• Hold at least a BA degree or its equivalent in education, science, culture or any other field relevant to the Organization’s areas of action;
• Be proficient in at least one of the Organization’s working languages (Arabic, English or French) but preferably fluent in two languages;
Benefits
- The young professionals are appointed at ICESCO based on a special contract dedicated to the Program, which sets out their rights and obligations.
- In addition to the monthly salary, the young professionals shall benefit from transport allowances. Non-resident professionals also benefit from housing allowances.
- Non-resident professionals benefit from a travel ticket when joining ICESCO and upon their definitive departure.
- Professionals benefit from ICESCO’s health insurance and occupational hazards insurance, in accordance with the Organization’s internal regulations.
Admission procedures:
- Accepted candidates will be selected by virtue of a Director-General’s decision.
- The General Directorate signs 24-month contracts with the accepted professionals. ICESCO arranges for non-resident professionals who are accepted in the Program to start work at the Seat Country.
- The young professional undertakes to uphold regular attendance at ICESCO headquarters until the end of the training.

- The application attachments include CVs in one of the Organization’s working languages, copies of academic diplomas and qualifications (at least a BA degree), a copy of the ID card or passport, a copy of the birth certificate. ICESCO will contact candidates to conduct remote written tests and interviews.
