Applications are now open for the 2025 Centre for Green Growth’s Training for Youth on Climate Adaptation and Leadership.
This training is being organized by the Centre for Green Growth emanating from the Global Centre for Adaptation and Care International “Toolkit for Youth on Adaptation & Leadership”.
The aim is to equip the youth with the right set of skills and knowledge to engage in climate adaptation action, policy and advocacy while paying particular attention to the needs of vulnerable groups in society.
The training will cover the various spheres of climate adaptation and the opportunities to bring out solutions to adapt local communities and vulnerable groups.
Requirements
- The in-person training will be held in Accra, Ghana in February, 2025. Slots are available for only 30 participants.
- The participant with the best mini adaptation project idea will receive seed funding of $500 to implement the mini project idea.
Disclaimer: All travel costs and other expenses associated with travel to Accra will be borne by the participant residing outside Accra, Ghana if selected.
