University of Nottingham, Malaysia Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2017/2018 (100% Tuition Fee)

The Developing Solutions Scholarship Fund will reach out to students who have the potential to make a real difference to the development and prosperity of their home countries.

10 awards of 100% tuition fee scholarships are available for students from the developing and third world countries registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus in areas related to science, technology and education, including the following courses:

How to apply

In order to apply for one of these scholarships you must;

  • be holding an unconditional offer letter and accepted the offer by paying USD1000 for full time Masters degree programme at The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus for 2016/17 intakes. Copy of unconditional offer letter and acceptance form must be attached together with the application.
  • be classified as an ‘overseas’ student for fee purposes.
  • have at least 1 full year working experience after completion of undergraduate programme. Fresh graduates will not be considered.
  • must sufficiently enable to support cost of living throughout the duration of studies.
  • complete our scholarship application form online. Please take note only completed form with all supporting documents will be considered.
  • submission of application will be open from March 2017
  • application for September 2017 intake is open from 15 March 2017 and closed by 28 July 2017. Successful applicants will be notified by 15 August 2017
  • application for December 2017 intake is open from 1 June 2017 and closed by 13 October 2017. Successful applicants will be notified by 31 October 2017
  • current students and graduates of UNMC will not be considered for this scholarship as to give new students an opportunity.
  • only complete applications and meet the above requirements will be entertained.

2016 Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship for Study in the UK ( 105 Scholarships Available)

Founded in 2001, Developing Solutions is The University of Nottingham’s flagship international scholarship programme for postgraduate masters courses.

Over the past 12 years we’ve supported over 1,000 students from the developing countries of the Commonwealth and Africa to study at The University of Nottingham.

Do you want to make a difference to the development of your home country?

105 scholarships available:

– 30 x 100% tuition fee

– 75 x 50% of tuition fees

Eligibility Requirements:

You can apply for this scholarship if you:

  • are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Africa, India or one of the countries of the Commonwealth listed below* AND
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  • have not already studied outside of your home country** AND
  • are not currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus or are not a University of Nottingham graduate AND
  • hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme, including MRes, at Nottingham for September 2016 in an area of study within the:

    Faculty of Engineering,
    Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences,
    Faculty of Science,
    Faculty of Social Science

Scholarship Worth:

  • The University of Nottingham offers more than 100 full and partial scholarships every year, from a minimum of 50% of the tuition fee up to full tuition and stipend awards through Developing Solutions.
  • Developing Solutions focuses on supporting students on one-year masters courses so they can return to their home countries to share the skills and knowledge they have developed and contribute positively to their home environments.
  • The scheme covers masters programmes that have development and sustainability at their core. Priority subject areas relating to environment, food, health and technology have been selected to offer the best opportunities to students who wish to return home to improve and develop their home environments.
