Application Deadline: July 5th 2021
As a Black and women-owned business that focuses on African markets, it is in C. Moore Media, International Public Relations DNA to be vocal about our support for diversity, especially as it pertains to Black women and girls. In 2020, right in the middle of the global pandemic, when businesses around the world were reeling from the pandemic, and we too as a company was trying to navigate the new normal, we wanted to reach back and help African female entrepreneurs and founders of startups during the global chaos that was surrounding us all.
On Africa Day 2020, we launched the inaugural edition of The Future is Female Mentorship Program, a complementary Public Relations (PR) and communications program dedicated exclusively to the business development needs of African female tech founders. African female tech founders are often unsupported and overlooked in the male-dominated tech world, and we wanted to empower and support this group. The Future is Female Mentorship Program provides African female tech founders of early-stage startups with PR and communications expertise, knowledge, and insights to help grow their business and gain more visibility to attract customers, investors, and strategic partnerships.
In celebration of Africa Day, we are launching the second edition of the mentorship program. In this edition of the program, we will increase our intake from 12 to 25 early-stage African tech female-founded startups chosen by a carefully selected industry panel of CMM team judges.
