Are you an entrepreneur with a vision to make an impact on society through your business? Do you want to take the next steps to grow your enterprise? Become part of a strong network of impact-driven female founders in the Middle East, North Africa and Türkiye through our leadership programme She Entrepreneurs.

She Entrepreneurs is a leadership programme for highly motivated women entrepreneurs in the Middle East, North Africa and Türkiye who are building sustainable and scalable businesses that contribute to driving social and/or environmental change. In the past years that the programme has been running, many entrepreneurs received support that helped them become successful in expanding and increasing their impact.

She Entrepreneurs offers practical and hands-on leadership training based on real business experience, collaborative learning, and participant-centric design. The programme provides tangible tools, insights and connections for participants who want to grow their businesses and develop as entrepreneurs as well as leaders.

Running over the course of six months, the programme combines regular online workshops and online mentoring with one week of intensive, onsite learning in Stockholm in September.

Requirements

You are welcome to submit your application if you are a woman entrepreneur born 1978 – 1999 with a business that:

is already operational and ready to expand;
has the potential to develop a financially sustainable business model and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals* by driving social and/or environmental change;
is based in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia or Türkiye.

Programme participants must be citizens of one of the countries mentioned above and have a proficient command of both written and spoken English.

Programme timeline

She Entrepreneurs runs for about six months and combines regular online workshops, learning groups, and mentoring with one week of intensive, onsite learning in Stockholm in September. You should plan to dedicate around five hours per week to the programme.

Online training and mentorship (End of April – mid-November 2024)
The training is based on a highly practical approach that allows you to apply the knowledge and insight gained through it directly to your business. Regular online workshops are organised on different topics that help you grow your turnover and operations, build a resilient leadership and team, and follow up on the targets you set for your social or environmental contribution. The workshops are led by experienced entrepreneurs and experts. Joint workshops and smaller learning groups give plenty of opportunities to meet other entrepreneurs in similar situations and to make new connections. Throughout the programme, you will also have access to coaching and mentorship based on your various needs.
Onsite learning week in Stockholm (September 2024)
The programme in Stockholm will take place 9 – 15 September (arriving on 9 September and departing on 15 September). It will be an intensive week of learning, combining workshops, mentoring, field visits and networking.The dates and timings are preliminary and may change. An exact schedule will be sent at the beginning of the programme.

has the potential to develop a financially sustainable business model and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals* by driving social and/or environmental change;
is based in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia or Türkiye.

She Entrepreneurs will give you:

Programme Timeline

She Entrepreneurs runs for six months and combines regular workshops, learning groups and mentor support online with one intensive week of onsite learning in Stockholm in September. You should plan for dedicating around 5 hours per week to the programme.

Online training (April – August 2023)
The training is set up with a highly practical approach that allows you to apply learnings and insights directly to your business. Regular online workshops are organised on different topics that help you grow your turnover and operations, build a resilient leadership and team and follow-up on the targets you set for your social or environmental contribution. The workshops are led by experienced entrepreneurs and trainers. Joint workshops and smaller learning groups give plenty of opportunities to meet other entrepreneurs in similar situations and to make new connections.
The training kicks off with introduction meetings in smaller groups, followed by two half-day sessions. The seminars that follow are typically held every second week during 1.5 – 2 hours on Friday mornings, plus 1 hour of individual preparations. Throughout the programme, participants will also be given practical tasks to support the implementation of new tools, methods and models into their own businesses
Online mentorship (April – August, 2023)
At the start of the programme, you are matched with an individual mentor that will support you throughout the programme. The individual mentor meetings are set up directly by you and your mentor.
Onsite learning week in Stockholm (September, 2023)
The programme in Stockholm will take place 11 – 17 September (arrival 11 September, departure 17 September). It will be an intensive learning week combining workshops, mentor support, field visits and networking.

In the past ten years that the programme has been running, many successful entrepreneurs received support that helped them expand.

She Entrepreneurs is a practical and hands-on leadership training based on real business experiences, collaborative learning and participant-centric design. The programme provides tangible tools, insights and connections for participants who want to grow their businesses and develop as entrepreneurs, as well as leaders.

The programme runs over six months. It is delivered online with regular workshops and mentors support.

If you are ready to take your business to the next level and want to become part of a strong network of likeminded women who can support and inspire you on your journey – then She Entrepreneurs is the programme for you.

Requirements:

You are welcome to submit your application if you are a woman entrepreneur between the age of 22 and 45 (born 1976 – 2000) with a business that:

is already operational and ready to expand;
has the potential to develop a financially sustainable business model, generate a positive social impact, and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals;
is based in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia or Turkey.

In addition, you should:

have a proficient command of both written and spoken English;
be willing to pay it forward by contributing at least two hours of pro bono mentorship to a junior entrepreneur in your home country during the programme.

The on-site meeting will be held for 10 days in Stockholm in October – if the global pandemic situation allows, and of course with all necessary precautions.

The training is set up with a highly practical approach that allows you to apply learnings and insights directly to your business. Every second week, online workshop are organized on different topics that help you grow your turnover and operations, build a resilient leadership and team, and increase your social or environmental contribution. The workshops are led by experienced entrepreneurs and trainers. Joint workshops and smaller learning groups give plenty of opportunities to meet other entrepreneurs in similar situations and to make new connections.
The training kicks off with a one-hour introduction meeting on 13 April, followed by two half-day sessions 22–23 April. The five seminars that follow are typically held every second week during 1.5 – 2 hours on Friday mornings, plus 1 hour of individual preparations.
Online mentorship (April–September)
At the start of the programme, you are matched with an individual mentor that will support you throughout the programme. You can also sign up for optional group mentoring sessions with thematic experts on topics that are requested among the participants.
On-site meeting in Stockholm (11–20 October 2021) *
The on-site meeting will be held in the city of Stockholm – one of Europe’s leading hubs for entrepreneurs. The focus of the meeting will be to strengthen and expand the network. You will continue to build on your entrepreneurial and leadership skills through workshops, seminars and meetings with mentors, experts and representatives of the Stockholm entrepreneurial ecosystem. On the final day, you will present your business to an advisory board consisting of senior entrepreneurs and business advisors.

The programme runs over five months with two separate assemblies (modules) taking place in the city of Stockholm – one of Europe’s leading hubs for entrepreneurs.

If you are ready to take your business to the next level and want to become part of a strong network of likeminded women that can support and inspire you on your journey – then She Entrepreneurs is the programme for you.

Programme Timeline

She Entrepreneurs is made up of two separate modules over the year. In between the modules, you will also have online follow-ups with your mentor. Module 1 runs for 11 days and Module 2 for 7 days. Both modules will take place in Stockholm. It is an intensive programme with full daily schedules and many evening activities. All selected participants will have to commit to participating in all the activities of both Module 1 and 2

Online Kick-off (13 May 15:00- 16:30 Swedish time)

Module 1 (in Stockholm, Sweden, 1 – 11 June 2020)
The module is set up with a highly practical approach that allows you to apply the lessons directly to your business. Interactive workshops and seminars will be combined with coaching sessions with expert mentors individually as well as in smaller groups.

Module 2 (1 – 7 November 2020)
The focus during module 2 will be to maintain, build and expand the network, to continue the learning journey and to follow up on the development of the work so far. You will continue to build on your entrepreneurial and leadership skills through workshops, seminars and meetings with. At the end of Module 2, you will present your business to an advisory board consisting of senior entrepreneurs and business advisors.
