University of Bologna (Alma Graduate School) Africa MBA Scholarship 2013/2014 .

Alma Graduate School, together with the Foundation for World Wide Cooperation, introduces the Africa Scholarship Program for the Academic Year 2013-2014.

This Program aims to facilitate the participation of 10 young bright talents from Africa, wishing to pursue an MBA and contribute to the social and economic development of their continent.

Scholarship Worth

Each of the 10 Scholarships includes:
• 100% cover of tuition fee (€27,000)
• grant up to € 10,000 (gross) to cover travel expenses to Italy and living costs in Bologna during the MBA program

Candidates need to apply both to the call for admission to the “1st level Master Universitario Program in Business Administration” at the University of Bologna (http://www.almaweb.unibo.it/internationalmba) and the Africa Scholarship Program at Alma Graduate School (http://www.almaweb.unibo.it/africa).

In order to receive this Scholarship,candidates need to be accepted in the MBA Program by the University of Bologna.

Scholarship requirements:

Prospective candidatesneedto:

• be citizens of an African Country (evidence required)

• satisfy all the MBA admission requirements

• be registered to the admissions process (Alma Graduate School is available to support candidates who need help to register in the admission process)

• submit a Letter of Commitment to successfully complete the MBA Program

• sign a Letter of Understanding about the importance of repatriation to Africa and contribution to the economic development of Africa

• provide evidence of personal year income (2010–‐2011-2012), family year income (2010–‐2011-2012) and information about parents’ jobs

The application form is to be sent via e–‐mail along with the above mentioned materials as PDF files to [email protected] by July 1st, 2013 at 1:00 pm.

A Committee appointed by the School will evaluate the application. In order to define the Scholarship Ranking, the Committee will consider the financial needs of the candidates officially admitted to participate in the MBA.

Notifications will reach successful candidates by July 24th, 2013.

The Boustany Havard University MBA Scholarship 2013.

Application Deadline: May 31st 2013

The Boustany MBA Scholarship is granted once every two years for a 24-month course at Harvard Business School leading to a Masters in Business Administration.

The Scholarship offers the following:

  • Financial aid amounting to $80,000 toward tuition fees ($40,000 for the 1st year and $40,000 for the 2nd year); the Foundation will also cover travel and accommodation expenses related to the internship.
  • A chance to join one of the most prestigious universities in the world and to read for a Master in Business Administration

Students can undertake any of the joint programs proposed by Harvard Business School but the Foundation will only cover HBS fees.

Eligibility Criteria

The Boustany MBA Scholarship to Harvard Business School is offered to an outstanding and highly-meriting candidate who must fulfill the admission requirements of HBS to be eligible for the scholarship.

Candidates must have excellent academic backgrounds and have enjoyed considerable success in their careers to date. Although the scholarship can be awarded to candidates of any nation, priority will be given to candidates of Lebanese descent.

The scholarship recipient is required to complete a summer internship (between the first and second year of the course), carrying no salary, with the Boustany Foundation.

Since 1997, the Boustany MBA Scholarship is granted once every two years for a 12-month course at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge leading to a Masters in Business Administration.

The Scholarship offers the following:

  • Financial aid amounting to £20,000 towards tuition fees. In addition college fees and travel & accommodation expenses related to the internship will be covered by the Foundation.
  • A chance to join one of the most prestigious universities in the world and to read for a Master in Business Administration
