The Estée Lauder Graduate Program has been developed to grow and enhance scarce skills and ultimately feed into the talent pool of Estee Lauder Companies. The graduate programme runs for 1 year effective January 2016.

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is an American manufacturer and marketer of high-end skincare, makeup, fragrance and hair care products. The company owns a diverse portfolio of labels, distributed internationally in up-market department stores.

Estée Lauder have opportunities in the following areas:

Requirements:

  • Applicants who have completed a relevant 3 year degree or similar will be considered.

Selection

The City of Joburg Educating Digital Interns (C.O.J.E.D.I) Programme 2015

What: A 3 month technical bootcamp, 1 month of soft-skill training followed by 6 months of integrated learning in the workspace

The City of Joburg is sponsoring 1000 of our cities most ambitious youths to upskill their IT knowledge.

The City of Johannesburg is looking for 1 000 of its brightest young information technology (IT) minds to be part of a new digital intern programme.

The City of Joburg Educating Digital Interns (C.O.J.E.D.I) programme is set to award three successful applicants 10-month IT courses. They will be able to choose between courses on industry leading Network Engineering solutions, Website Design and Development, as well as Fibre Optic Development.

The internship is open to matriculants with mathematics and science. The programme is also for applicants with one or two-year diplomas and a serious digital aptitude, who reside in Johannesburg.
Come digitise your mind with what promises to be 10 months of exciting, highly intensive, next generation digital programs with 3 great courses across the digital spectrum as well as a leadership, innovation and life skills course. A 3 month technical bootcamp, 1 month of soft-skill training followed by 6 months of integrated learning in the workspace of some of South Africa’s leading digital enterprises.
Requirements:
  • The Challenge is open to the public and any person, between the ages including the age of 18 and 35.
  • All applicants need to be resident of Johannesburg, Gauteng South Africa, but need not necessarily be South African.
  • All applicants must be in possession of a valid matric certificate with maths and science as subjects OR a 1 or 2 year diploma in Information technology or a related field.
  • All applicants must choose one of three courses. Each course intake is subject to availability, upon one or more course being filled, applicants may have the opportunity to fall into one of the other course, availability permitting and at the discretion of the City of Johannesburg and or its appointed agents.
  • Applicants may be eligible for a stipend, however this will be at the discretion of the City of Johannesburg and or its appointed agents.

The 3fifteen Internship Programme is a 12 month intensive development programme commencing in January each year. This programme allows you to gain valuable working experience and theoretical training while earning a salary.
 
The 3fifteen Internship Programme is your chance to build the foundation for a successful career in the IT industry.
A supporting structure of Mentors will guide our Interns through their training by providing help for challenges at work or simply being around for a friendly chat. Upon completion of the programme, successful Interns may have the opportunity of permanent employment within the company based upon their performance during the course of the Internship.
Requirements
  •  Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid South African ID number.
  • Applicants must be under the age of 35.
  • Applicants must be in possession of a Matric Qualification and a completed IT related Degree / National Diploma / Certificate from a recognized South African Institute with an above-average academic record.
  • Application forms must be completed in full (incomplete applications will not be considered).
  • A CV, Matric certificate, tertiary transcripts and IT certifications must accompany the completed application form.
  • Applicants must not have participated in previous learnership, graduate or internship programmes.
  • Applicants must not have previously had permanent employment within a software development environment.
  • Previous work experience such as vacation work is welcomed but not required.
  • Preference will be given to disabled applicants.
