iF Social Impact Prize 2024 for young Changemakers ( EUR 100,000 in prize money.)

Applications are now open for the 2024 iF Social Impact Prize. The iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE supports projects that contribute to improving our society. If you work towards achieving one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, your project is eligible.

Applying is free of charge. Every year iF Design donates EUR 100,000 to support the best projects submitted to the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE. Your project should already be established and you can apply with the same project a maximum of two times. Student concepts will not be accepted.

Requirements

  • Companies, design studios, NGOs, foundations, public and other organizations, social enterprises and entrepreneurs are welcome to submit.
  • Student concepts cannot be accepted.

Benefits

Social projects supported by the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE will be:

  • Compete for a share of EUR 100,000
  • Published on our iF Design Website
  • Introduced to a global design community, the design interested public and media
  • Projects selected by the jury receive an individual Winner Certificate

Prize Money

  • The prize money of EUR 100,000 will be donated by iF. It can be awarded to one or split between several projects. In April and October 2024 a jury panel will decide the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE 2024 the projects supported by iF and divide up the prize money.

Timeline:

  • The iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE will be decided twice a year.
  • Deadline for the first selection: 24 April 2024
  • Deadline for the second selection: October 2024 Prize money

iF Social Impact Prize 2021 ( EUR 100,000 in prize money.)

The iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE aims to publish and support projects that contribute to our society. The prize categories correspond to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. We do not charge any fees. The best projects will be honored with a share prize money of EUR 100,000 in total in 2021.

Publish your project in the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE (for free) and you will automatically compete for the prize in 2021! In addition, your project will reach the global design community through various communication measures by iF.

Companies, design studios, NGOs, foundations, social enterprises, public and other organizations are welcome to submit. Your project should already be established and you can apply with the same project a maximum of two times. Student concepts will not be accepted!

Benefits

If you apply for the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE, you can benefit from many advantages which help to boost your project:

  1. Your application is free of charge.
  2. Your project will be published in the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE forever.
  3. You can permanently update your projects with new photos, videos and information.
  4. Your project will be introduced to a global design community, media and the design interested public.
  5. You can win a share of EUR 100,000 in prize money.

There is no deadline for your publication and you can apply every day. Twice a year the prize money will be decided:
– after 27 May 2021
– after 18 November 2021
