Google Science Fair est un concours scientifique et technologique international en ligne, ouvert aux jeunes de 13 à 18 ans, seuls ou en équipe. Envoyez-nous votre projet scientifique ou technologique pour tenter de remporter des prix exceptionnels.

Nous avons le privilège de compter parmi nos partenaires LEGO Education, National Geographic, Scientific American et Virgin Galactic, qui vous réservent des récompenses exceptionnelles.

Si votre projet Google Science Fair vise à surmonter un défi relatif à l’ingénierie, vous pourrez remporter les prix Virgin Galactic Pioneer Award ou LEGO® Education Builder Award.

Si votre projet porte un nouveau regard sur le monde et soulève des problématiques que vous résolvez à travers l’expérimentation, vous serez en lice pour les prix National Geographic Explorer Award ou Scientific American Innovator Award.

Les 16 finalistes internationaux, accompagnés d’un parent ou d’un tuteur légal, se rendront au siège de Google, à Mountain View (Californie, États-Unis), pour présenter leur projet devant le jury et tenter de remporter les prix indiqués ci-dessus.

Grand Prix

Le gagnant du Grand prix recevra une bourse de 50 000 USD.

La bourse d’études de 50 000 USD offerte par Google est destinée à aider le gagnant du Grand prix à poursuivre ses études. Si ce prix est remporté par une équipe, le montant de la bourse d’études sera réparti à parts égales entre les membres de l’équipe.

Le prix Scientific American Innovator Award

Le prix Scientific American Innovator Award récompensera un projet exceptionnel qui répond aux plus grandes questions des sciences naturelles par une démarche empirique.

Le gagnant recevra :

  • Une bourse d’études de 15 000 $
  • Un mentorat d’un an

Le prix National Geographic Explorer Award

Le prix National Geographic Explorer Award récompensera un projet exceptionnel qui répond aux plus grandes questions des sciences naturelles par une démarche empirique.

Le prix LEGO® Education Builder Award

Le prix Virgin Galactic Pioneer Award

Le prix Virgin Galactic Pioneer Award récompensera un élève qui répond aux plus grands défis de l’ingénierie actuelle par une démarche pragmatique et innovante.

  • Une bourse d’études de 15 000 $
  • Un mentorat d’un an

Les prix Community Impact Award

Les prix Community Impact Award récompensent cinq projets liés à l’environnement, à la santé ou aux ressources, et destinés à changer concrètement la vie d’une communauté.

Pour le développement de son projet, chaque gagnant recevra une bourse d’études de 1 000 $ et bénéficiera du mentorat d’un des partenaires du concours Google Science Fair pendant un an. Chaque gagnant, accompagné d’un parent ou d’un tuteur, assistera à la finale internationale à Mountain View (Californie, États-Unis), qui aura lieu en septembre.

Nous sélectionnerons un gagnant dans chacune des régions suivantes, et ces derniers seront annoncés au même moment que les finalistes régionaux :

L’Inspiring Educator Award

L’Inspiring Educator Award récompensera les efforts d’un enseignant exceptionnel qui a tout fait pour permettre à ses élèves d’accomplir de grandes choses.

Le gagnant recevra une bourse de 5 000 $ et un chèque-cadeau de 5 000 $ pour l’achat de produits pédagogiques LEGO Education.

Google Science Fair is a global online competition open to individuals or teams from 13 to 18 years old. #howcanwe make the world better with science?

Google Science Fair is an international, online science and technology competition that encourages students between the ages of 13 to 18 to be curious, ask questions, and perform science experiments to answer those questions.

  • Google in Partnership with LEGO Education, National Geographic, Scientific American and Virgin Galactic to offer some unbelievable awards.
  • If your Science Fair submission is something you built to solve an engineering challenge, you’ll be eligible to win the Virgin Galactic Pioneer Award or the LEGO® Education Builder Award.
  • If your project offers a new way to look at the world, asking questions and answering them with experimentation, you’ll be eligible to win the National Geographic Explorer Award or Scientific American Innovator Award.
  • The 16 global finalists, along with a parent or guardian, will travel to Google headquarters in Mountain View, CA to present their project to the judges and compete for the awards listed above.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Competition is open to individuals born between 21 February 1997 and 17 May 2003 (inclusive). No individual can register for or enter the Competition until they turn 13. If an Entrant turns 19 during submission period they will not be disqualified.

Requirements:

  •  All students must have an internet connection and a free Google Account to participate, as the projects are submitted through Google Sites in English, German, Italian, Spanish, or French
Entrants can submit Projects in any one (1) of the following topics as a main topic and up to two
(2) subtopics:
● Flora & Fauna
● Food Science
● Earth & Environmental Sciences
● Inventions & Innovation
● Electricity & Electronics
● Robotics
● Biology
● Chemistry

Prizes:

Grand Prize

  • The Grand Prize winner will receive $50,000 in scholarship funding. The $50,000 Google scholarship is intended to further the Grand Prize winner’s education. If a team wins the prize, the scholarship’s value will be divided equally among the teammates.

The Scientific American Innovator award

The Scientific American Innovator award honors an outstanding project with an experimental approach to answering some of the greatest questions in our natural world.

The winner will receive:

  • $15,000 educational scholarship.
  • A year-long mentorship.

The National Geographic Explorer Award

The National Geographic Explorer Award honors an outstanding project with an experimental approach to answering some of the greatest questions in our natural world.

The winner will receive:

  • $15,000 educational scholarship.
  • A year-long mentorship.

The LEGO® Education Builder Award

The LEGO® Education Builder Award honors a student who uses an innovative, hands-on approach to solve some of the greatest engineering challenges.

The winner will receive:

  • $15,000 educational scholarship.
  • A year-long mentorship.

The Virgin Galactic Pioneer award

The Virgin Galactic Pioneer award honors a student who uses an innovative, hands-on approach to solve some of the greatest engineering challenges.

The winner will receive:

  • $15,000 educational scholarship.
  • A year-long mentorship.

The Community Impact Awards

The Community Impact Awards honor five projects that make a practical difference in his or her community by addressing an environmental, health or resources challenge.

To help develop their project, each winner will be awarded $1,000 in an educational scholarship and a year-long mentorship from a Google Science Fair partner organization. Each winner, along with a parent or guardian, will also be invited to our Global Finalist event in Mountain View, CA in September.

One winner from each of the following regions will be announced during our Regional Finalist announcement:

  • Asia Pacific
  • Europe
  • Latin America
  • North America

The Inspiring Educator Award

The Inspiring Educator Award honors the contributions of one outstanding educator who goes above and beyond to encourage their students to achieve great things.

The winner will receive a $5,000 classroom grant and a $5,000 gift card for educational products from LEGO Education.

Global Finalist Prize

The 16 global finalists will receive a variety of exciting prizes.

Google Science Fair is an international, online science and technology competition that encourages students between the ages of 13 to 18 to be curious, ask questions, and perform science experiments to answer those questions.

The Google Science Fair is an online science competition sponsoredby Google, Lego, CERN, National Geographic and Scientific American.

In partnership with LEGO Education, National Geographic, Scientific American, and Virgin Galactic, Google invites these students to post their science projects online so that they may compete for prizes, scholarships, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Eligibility:

  • Competition is open to individuals born between 19 February 1996 and 18 February 2002 (inclusive).
  • No entrant can register for or enter the competition until they turn 13. If an entrant turns 19 during submission period they will not be disqualified.
  • All entrants must have his/her parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enter this Competition.

Requirements:

  •  All students must have an internet connection and a free Google Account to participate, as the projects are submitted through Google Sites in English, German, Italian, Spanish, or French

  • No  entrant can sign up for the competition until they turn 13.
  • All entrants must have his/her parent’s or legal guardian’s  permission to enter this Competition.

Requirements:

  •  All students must have an internet connection and a free Google Account to participate, as the projects are submitted through Google Sites in English, German, Italian, Spanish, or French
