The Francophonie 35 under 35 Youth Awards rewards inspiring young Francophones aged 18 to 35 who are making outstanding achievements in their communities. Following the success of the first edition held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on October 29th, 2016; the
organizers are kicking off the 2017 edition for what represents the most prestigious event
celebrating youth innovation in the Francophone world, a community of more than 900 million people on five continents.
For this 2nd edition, new category prizes will be awarded: “Young Francophone of the Year”
“Acting” “Music”, “Radio” “TV or Internet Young Personality”.
The Francophonie 35 under 35 Youth Awards offers to the Laureates unprecedented visibility and support for their projects. An awards ceremony scheduled to take place on September 16, 2017 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, will bring together decision-makers from the French-speaking world to unveil the Laureates, each taking home a trophy and prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes). In addition, the “Young Francophone of the Year Super Laureate” will receive a financial support of 3000 euros.

The Francophonie 35 under 35 Youth Awards are at the initiative of “Association 3535” a platform bringing together over 20 young professionals in 20 French-speaking countries. The Jury President for the 2017 edition is Mr. Adebola Williams, Founder of Red Media Africa. These Awards are organized with the official support of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) and the French Institute of Côte d’Ivoire.
