Applications are now open for the 2024 FNB Graduate Programme. The FNB Graduate Team is looking for nontraditional thinkers and innovative, self-starting contributors who can get the job done efficiently, exceed customer expectations and live up to our promise of real help. If this sounds like you, and you are in the final year of your university program, particularly in the BSc and Commerce faculties, and with a focus on Quantitative Sciences, Engineering and Physical Sciences and Information and Computing Sciences, apply to the FNB Graduate Program by submitting your CV and latest academic transcript.  

All roles on the graduate program are permanent positions. Graduates join specific business units in a full-time role and participate in monthly training sessions as well as an action learning project.

Requirements

  • Strong academic results ( NB academic transcript required as part of the application)
  • Currently completing the final year of relevant university programs, particularly in the BSc and Commerce faculties, with a focus on the following programs: Actuarial Science, Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Chemistry, Data Science, UX ( usability and customer experience), or related fields.
  • Analytical and numeric mindset with strong problem-solving skills essential

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Delivering exceptional service by actively listening to customer needs and creating innovative solutions tailored to their requirements..
  • Contributing to your team’s success by completing your tasks efficiently, planning meticulously, keeping accurate records, and updating relevant information on time.
  • Engaging actively in the organisation’s innovation processes by participating in brainstorming sessions, suggesting new ideas, and collaborating with colleagues to develop creative solutions that support business objectives.

  • Minimum Qualification : Students currently completing their final year of university degrees in: Commerce (Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Economics etc), Actuarial Science, Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Marketing, HR, Industrial Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Science, This is not an exhaustive list of degrees

As part of the Application process the following is required: Completion of information pertaining to Qualification(s) and Institution; An academic transcript has to be uploaded.

  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
  • Provision of an efficient execution of role responsibilities through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information in the relevant role of learning
  • Participate in the innovation process in the business and contribute toward new innovations against objectives
  • Participation in knowledge sharing and projects to maximise skills required for the role and relevant career exploration by executing all activities required to be efficient and successful
  • Manage graduate development plan by completion of training assignments
  • Manage graduate development plan to increase own competencies and skills by attendance of training
  • Manage own development to increase own competencies
  • Live the values of the business through demonstrating and displaying of the values required in the business
