HealthCorps Fellowship Length: 10 – 12 months; starting early August 2018

The CIDRZ HealthCorps Fellows Programme provides a valuable field training opportunity for future Zambian and expatriate public health leaders in the setting of a vibrant international organisation based in Lusaka. Fellowship attachments are 10-12 months long.
This competitive annual fellowship offers meaningful health research programme experience, training and mentorship to early- and mid-career public health practitioners. Fellows join leading-edge research and implementation science projects to hone existing skills and build new ones. Thinking is refined through participation in research meetings, journal clubs and analysis ‘Think Tanks’.
HealthCorps fellows become integral members of the research team involved in programme and data management, analysis, writing, and development of scientific posters, presentations and manuscripts. Fellows find that the rich hands-on experience and professional development mentorship helps them to refine their next career or educational step. HealthCorps placements are made in our programme areas depending on the intake year.

CIDRZ conduct locally-relevant, leading-edge healthcare research, strengthen primary health care systems in multiple focus areas, and run a state-of-the-art medical and research diagnostic laboratory.

CIDRZ HealthCorps targets public health, medical, nursing and management graduates who are passionate about global health and wish to gain international exposure. Master’s degree preparation preferred, however graduates with a Bachelor’s degree and substantial experience are welcome to apply. Previous international work experience is highly regarded, but not required.
How to Apply:
1. Create Account
Please visit http://www.cidrz.org/wp-login.php?action=register to register for a free account. Please skip to step 3 if you have previously registered on the CIDRZ website. On the registration page, shown in Fig 1, specify your username and email. Click the Register button when you are done, you should see the “Registration complete”
2. Activate Account
Open the mailbox for the email address you used to register and locate your registration confirmation message. Please check your spam or junk folders if you are unable to find the email after a few minutes.
3. Login
You need to login to submit your application. Please click http://www.cidrz.org/wp-login.php to login. You should see the login page as shown in Fig 6. Provide your username and password then click the Log In button.
4. Submit Your Application
Whenever you are logged in, you can make changes to your application by clicking the HEALTHCorps 2018 menu as shown in Fig 7. You can also access the application form directly by clicking http://www.cidrz.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=healthcorps-2018-2019-application
