Submission Deadline: 5th february 2015:
The Cultural Innovation International Prize is a biennial competition organised by the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (hereafter CCCB) with the aim of incentivising projects that explore the potential cultural scenarios of the coming years through research and practice. The first call for entries ties in with the 20th anniversary of the CCCB and is being held in partnership with Audiences Europe Network, a working platform that brings together cultural institutions and organisations from different European countries with the aim of fostering reflection on audiences in the sphere of culture.
What:
Entrants for the Prize are required to submit a project that will create, produce and/or feature cultural contents. The format, subject and/or management methods must provide an innovative response to these or other related questions.
Eligibility Criteria:
The following persons are eligible to enter for the Prize:
- Natural persons aged 18 or over living in any country, regardless of nationality. They can submit an entry individually or as a group. In the latter case, the group must appoint a representative in writing should they be selected for the Prize.
- Legal persons: not-for-profit associations, cooperatives, foundations and organisations from any country. They must appoint a representative in writing should they be selected for the Prize.
Prize:
- The winning entrant –project author, authors or rights holders– will receive 10,000 € in prize money.
Timeline:
5th february 2015:
Registration and submission period.
6th february– 14th may 2015:
Evaluation of the projects by the technical commission and jury.
15th may – 15th june 2015:
The jury makes its decision and notifies the representative of the winning project. The award ceremony takes place. (*)
