The HUB Fellowship is a ground-breaking idea competition and incubation programme to attract, select and support high-impact entrepreneurs to realise their ideas for a more sustainable world – in line with the HUB‘s mission to facilitate the translation of enterprising ideas into collaborative action for sustainable impact. The programme combines the support of a co-working space with a unique one-year incubation period to help early-stage initiatives with high impact potential get off the ground. The Johannesburg Fellowship Programme is run in coordination with HUB Fellowship Association based in Zurich.

Innovation Prize for Africa (IPA is a joint initiative of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the African Innovation Foundation (AIF) started in 2011. IPA honours and encourages innovative achievements that contribute toward developing new products, increasing efficiency or saving cost in Africa.
The prize also promotes among young African men and women the pursuit of science, technology and engineering careers and business applications. Specifically, the award targets technological breakthroughs in such main concern areas as manufacturing and service industry, health and well-being, agriculture and agribusiness, environment, energy and water and ICTs.
2014 Australian Government Master Scholarship Awards for Africans
The International Crisis Group‘s Horn of Africa Project is looking for an intern to work in the organization’s Nairobi office for a period of six months from October 2012.
Major responsibilities:
- The position is desk based and involves assisting Crisis Group’s Horn of Africa Project team by monitoring political developments in the Horn of Africa region via on-line sources;

Clements Worldwide is pleased to announce the launch of its 4th annual Expat Youth Scholarship (EYS) contest. Designed exclusively for students aged 13 to 18 experiencing life in foreign countries amidst unfamiliar cultures, the EYS contest is a testament to Clements’ ongoing commitment to the international expatriate community. Eligibility
GE Africa’s Internship Program is a newly created internship/co-op program designed to give college/university students challenging work assignments, developmental feedback, and exposure to leadership. The duration of our internship program spans a period of 3 – 6 months, and combines hands-on experience with formal performance feedback to help participants transition from a collegial environment to the workplace.
