I am Guy Landry Nkanuriye , and i am really interested in a Rotary scholarship to study Urban Water and Sanitation since 2016 at the end of my bachelor degree at Burundi National University in the course of Territory and Urban Planning with a focus on Civil engineering and Urban planning and management combined together . From that moment , i tried to be involved in WASH activities of NGOs. For that purpose , i applied for an internship opportunity in World Vision Burundi and i succeeded in the test organised for that purpose. This gave an opportunity of getting an internship period from October 1st 2017 to September 30th 2018. Now i am getting the experience of 3 years required and after that period i need to be a recipient of this scholarship. Meanwhile, i am trying to get all the documents needed to apply successfully because i am already working as a WASH staff and i am saving money for that objective. WASH means Water Sanitation and Hygiene within NGOs ( I am currently engaged in WASH activities in World Vision International/Burundi) and i am getting WASH experience working with vulnerable communities in order to tackle Water , Sanitation and Hygiene problems in Burundi.
