Eminus Academy is beginning another round of courses starting December 11, 2015. Women are strongly encouraged to register. Enroll in courses today to begin your Online Certificate in Youth Led Sustainable Development and Project Management through the UN Habitat E-Learning Program with Eminus Academy.
The program is designed to offer training related to community impact, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills in line with UN Sustainable Development Goals. It provides the opportunity to learn introductory technical skills, including social media management, virtual pitch design, business plan creation, proposal writing, and community mapping techniques.
Each course will introduce students to new concepts and practices related to youth led sustainable development and project management. In addition, courses related to social enterprise, business, introductory accounting, food systems, and global citizenship will also be available.
Students will be expected to complete 3 of the 8 courses offered over the next 10 months. Students finished the program will receive a Certificate of Completion signed by UN Habitat and in collaboration with the University of the Fraser Valley.
NOTE: Students will need to sign-up for an account on our E-Learning Platform: Eliademy. Additionally, each course will require a mandatory survey to be completed within the first few weeks of the course and prior to the registration cut-off date. Upon completion of the course and exit survey will also be conducted.
