What: MINDS Regional Civic Education Workshop North Africa

The Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS) is pleased to announce the dates for its regional training workshops in Civic Education focusing on Elections and Governance. The aim of the workshops is to create awareness, enhance knowledge and develop relevant skills in Electoral and Governance processes and Leadership among participants, in order for them to effectively communicate and apply them in influencing and mobilizing other youth to actively participate in the processes and other community and national development activities.
It is therefore a great opportunity through which African youth can interact as they interrogate and deepen their understanding of issues of mutual interest pertaining to the development and transformation of the Continent.
Eligibility:
- To encourage networking and full participation between 30 -35 youths will be accepted from each region.
- MINDS will meet all direct costs of participation in the training.
- This workshop is open to citizens from the following countries Algeria, Cape Verde, Chad, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania, Western Sahara, Tunisia, Mali, Senegal and Gambia.
