2015 Gritcube Fellowship Programme for Young Entrepreneurs in Zambia

Application Deadline: July 10th 2015

Gritcube is seeking its first class of entrepreneur fellows for 2015-2016! Gritcube  is looking for local Zambians with business ideas that have the potential to employ 10-50 Africans within 5 years. Possible sectors include, but are not limited to: agribusiness, food and retail, manufacturing, technical services, technology, and energy.

Gritcube welcome ideas with social missions, particularly ones aimed to increase employment for Africans.

Gritcube collaborates with young entrepreneurs in Zambia (called “Fellows”) to build the foundations of new, innovative businesses. We connect these Fellows with Associates, young experienced professionals around the world who work closely with the Fellows to identify and acquire what they need to begin their business operations.

Benefits

What makes Gritcube different from other incubators in Lusaka is that we aim to help Zambians seek financial resources abroad, starting with the US. Financial resources from the US can be generated through grant applications, crowdfunding, or even VC funding.

Associates will help entrepreneurs develop business and financing plans, either remotely or in-person in Lusaka.

The Associate will work with the entrepreneur fellow to begin implementing operations and apply for funding.

The first deadline for entrepreneur fellow applications is July 10. Apply today!
