Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) EDEN (Garden City Project) AMBASSADORS PROGRAMME ( Fully-Funded)

Application Deadline: August 31st 2015
Today in Nigeria, the issue of waste disposal has become a challenge for both the government and the people. The result from this challenge is the degradation of the environment which contributes to flooding and other environmental challenges suffered as a result of improper disposal of waste. One such place in Nigeria to see the effect of improper waste disposal is in the city of Port Harcourt
Consequently, the need arose to institute a Garden City Project themed EDEN (after the legendary garden of Eden) to evoke the images of an ideal garden city in the minds of residents and stimulate desired action for environmental sustainability.
E.D.E.N. as an acronym stands for Environmental Deficiency Elimination for the Nations.
