In February 2020, the British Council in partnership with Nesta (the UK’s innovation Foundation) will deliver two Creative Enterprise Programme workshops in Nairobi, Kenya focused on the fashion sector.
•The first four-day workshop will take place from 22-25 February 2020. We are looking for creative designers working in fashion. Whether your design focus is in textiles, clothing, footwear, accessories, costume or millinery, we are looking for you. (Applications open)
•The second four-day workshop will take place from 28 February – 02 March 2020. We are looking for creative entrepreneurs who support the fashion sector. This includes stylists, make-up artists, fashion photographers, hairstylists, fashion bloggers, fashion marketers, fashion publishing, fashion event curators etc.
This programme is available for creative entrepreneurs from Kenya, to attend these four-day workshops.
Requirements:
he Creative Enterprise Programme is designed to support entrepreneurs who are already in the process of setting up their own creative enterprise. The workshop content and activities are relevant to people whose businesses are up-and-running and those who are in the very early stages.
It’s suitable for people just starting out and for people who have been running a business for a long time, to take a fresh look at their business using new methods.

Hours of delivery: 9.00 – 17.00 (daily)
- The programme will deliver two four-day workshops in Nairobi, Kenya:
- Fashion designers: from 22 – 25 February 2020
- Fashion auxiliary/support creatives: from 28 February – 02 March 2020.
