The First ever AU Agenda 2063 International Youth Summit to be held October 29 – November 1, 2015 – at the African Union HQ, Addis Ababa Ethiopia! This is your chance to join a large network of inspired, empowered and proactive young African leaders from all corners of Africa and the world!
The Agenda 2063 Youth Summit is expected to create awareness on the future plans of Africa, get feed backs on the formulated 50 year plan, and articulate strategies on how to implement the first 10 years of the Agenda.
Agenda 2063 African Youth Summit is an International youth assembly hosted by the Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa – Addis Ababa University charter – (YALDA-AAU.
The summit gathers more than 250 young Africans from around the globe, to deliberate the key messages of Agenda 2063, tap into diaspora engagement in Africa’s dialogues and create an inter-generational dialogue for the multiplication effect of the theme. YALDA-AAU is also very excited that the Summit will be hosted in line with the African Youth Day which will be celebrated on November 1st, 2015.

TRAVEL EXPENSE:
*All delegates cover their round-trip flight tickets and travel expenses to Addis Ababa.
In land transport will be provided for delegates during their stay.
*Available Airlines: Ethiopian Airlines, Kenyan Airways, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa and Fly Emirates. Destination: Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD)
*Please note, some countries are not allowed for visa upon arrival so contact our Delegate relations staff ahead of time. *YALDA AAU is ready to facilitate your visa upon arrival issuance in collaboration with the African Union protocols, and provide all necessary letters upon request.
*YALDA AAU is neither responsible for any possible visa denials nor does make refunds for Registration payments on such occasions.
ACCOMMODATION:
*Guests are expected to arrange their own accommodation for the duration of the conference.
*YALDA – AAU suggests few affordable accommodations located within close proximity of the Venue. However, guests have the option of arranging their own hotels for their stay in Addis that best suits them.
MEALS:
*Delegates are expected to provide finance for their own meals during the conference and their stay in their hotels. Some hotels provide breakfast with the rooms, please check the room agreements before choosing one’s accommodations. *Average Price per meal in Addis: $4-7$ per person.
WEATHER CONDITION:
During October, Addis Ababa has a mixture of both warm day lights and chilly evenings. So delegates are recommended to bring assortment of clothes that suit both sunny outdoors and cold evenings. For the duration of the conference, delegates would be requested to dress in formal attire.
REGISTRATION FEE:
All accepted delegate can directly proceed to registration payment.
The registration fee is $50 Non-refundable; payable via Swift Money transfers like Western Union or Money Gram Payable to the Finance Director: Ms. HINDIA MAHMMUD; YALDA AAU – Finance Director.

it feel delegates to pay for themselves is quiet crucial,we may want to attend but were are we going to get sponsorship from?its a good idea for young to meet and talk about these issues.
I totally agree with Clementina. As a young Afrikan leader, I would love to be part and parcel of the medium… but resources is my #1 challenge. When things are send through the NYC, ONLY the elite will attend. When applications are send via links ( as in this case) government will interogate us on why invitations and or applications didnt go through them. We are talking of #airticket #accomodation #food money. Eish!!!
