Africa Check Fact-Checking Fellowship 2022 for African Journalists and Fact-Checkers.

Africa Check and the Fojo Media Institute are offering a fellowship to journalists and fact-checkers. In September 2022, four fellows from Sub Saharan African countries will be trained at the Africa Check offices in Johannesburg, South Africa, in an intensive 10-day program.

This will equip each fellows with the knowledge, skills, and tools to find reliable data, identify misinformation and disinformation, and produce high-quality fact-checking reports. The fellows will also gain insight into the organizational aspects of running a fact-checking organization such as Africa Check.

The programme will be conducted in English and, depending on Covid-19 travel restrictions, take place at Africa Check’s office in Johannesburg.
