It is obvious that poverty is everywhere in Africa. Even though there are concerted efforts aimed at dealing with the hydra-headed monster, more needs to be done. This proposal wants to focus on poverty reduction through provision of educational opportunities, especially to the under-privileged and the deprived in the society. I am a proprietress of a private school that operates in a particular neighbourhood that is very close to a settlement which is a slum Even though one in doing something worthwhile to those who can afford it, one is worried on continuing basis witnessing a multitude of deprived children who are nearby but cannot afford it due to social and economic circumstance, hence this proposal.
