SEED and SWITCH-Africa Green are pleased to invite applications for our upcoming SAG-SEED Replicator Connect Workshops in Uganda, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa.
The SEED Replicator supports future entrepreneurs by replicating proven eco-inclusive business models from around the world. Based on the SAG-SEED Replicator Workbooks, the Replicator Connect Workshops offer hands-on support to take the first steps towards the development of an individual business idea and a unique opportunity to gain insight into eco-inclusive business models around the world. Workshop participants are provided with a variety of business options in order to set up their own eco-inclusive enterprise in a chosen sector.
Each date is a separate workshop. Participants may choose one of the two topics in each workshop:
Uganda:
- 22 June in Kampala: waste to industrial resources or plastic upcycling
- 23 June in Kampala: waste to biogas or agricultural product processing
Deadline for applications: 13 June 2017
Kenya:
- 27 June in Nairobi: agricultural product processing or waste to industrial resources
Deadline for applications: 13 June 2017
Ghana:
- 30 June in Accra: waste to industrial resources or plastic upcycling
- 1 July in Accra: briquettes from biomass or collaborative business models for smallholder farming
Deadline for applications: 13 June 2017
South Africa:
- 3 July in Durban: ICT for agriculture or irrigation solutions for smallholder farming
- 4 July in Durban: waste to industrial resources or plastic upcycling
- 6 July in Bloemfontein: waste to biogas or local clean cookstove enterprises
- 7 July in Bloemfontein: collaborative business models for smallholder farming or agricultural product processing
Deadline for applications: 20 June 2017
The number of workshop participants is limited. Motivated individuals, teams or NGOs are invited to send their application before the deadlines above.
