Technovation Challenge 2017 – Tech Entrepreneurship Program for girls.

Technovation offers girls around the world the opportunity to learn the skills they need to emerge as tech entrepreneurs and leaders. Every year we invite girls to identify a problem in their community, and then challenge them to solve it.

Girls work in teams to build both a mobile app and a business plan to launch that app, supported by mentors and guided by our curriculum.

Every year, Technovation challenges girls all over the world to build a mobile app that will address a community problem. Since 2009:

• 10,000 girls have participated inTechnovation from over 78 countries
• Over 2,400 professionals have built a global network of support for Technovation girls as mentors, educators and regional ambassadors
• Over 1,700 mobile apps have been created by Technovation participants

In 2017, teams will choose from 6 themes to consider as they develop their app and business plan. The problem your app solves should fall into one of the following categories.
