Google Global Code Jam 2015 (Google’s Worldwide Online Programming Competition).

Google Code Jam is a programming competition in which professional and student programmers solve complex algorithmic challenges in a limited amount of time.

The competition began in 2003 as a means to identify top engineering talent for potential employment at Google. The competition consists of a set of algorithmic problems which must be solved in a fixed amount of time. Competitors may use any programming language and development environment to obtain their solutions.

Eligibility Requirements;

Candidates must be:

• Be 13 years of age or older at the time of registration but must be 18 years of age or older at the time of registration to be eligible for the onsite final round, if not, you are only eligible to win a T-Shirt
• Must Commit to attending all related organized events as well as the awards ceremony at the end of the contest
  participants must have access to internet, a valid e-mail address and must be able to communicate in English

Prizes:

T-Shirts: for top-scoring 1000 contestants from Round 2

Final Round: Cash Prizes

• First Place: $USD15,000
• Second Place: $USD2,000
• Third Place: $USD1,000
• 4th-26th Place: $USD 100

Benefits:

• Google will pay for certain expenses related to your travel to and participation in the final round
• Hotel accommodations will also be provided for participants
• Google will reimburse the cost of meals up  to $USD30 per day on days you are traveling to and from the contest and up to $USD 60 per day on non-travel days.
