Atlas4dev in partnership with the AU Youth Envoy Office and with the support of Peace First organization and the Department of Cooperation and Cultural Action of the French Embassy in Morocco, is launching the 2nd edition of the 2063 Academy, from 23-28 November.
After the success of the first edition, the 2063 Academy in its 2nd edition, will serve as a platform to connect the African youth with their Africa, through promoting, discussing, debating the Agenda 2063 and bringing solid recommendations and entrepreneurship solutions to achieve the Africa we want, by building the capacities of the African Youth We Want, under the OYE 2019/20 Action Plan
The edition will take place virtually in November so to celebrate the African Youth Month, promote the role of youth in silencing the guns, and be part of the 1 Million by 2021 initiative.
The 2nd edition will be focusing on two main important topics: Climate change and Gender Equality.
The participants, after completing the program, will receive coaching and mentoring via experts and a seed grant up to 250$, to take actions and create an impact in their local communities.
Eligibility criteria:
- Age between 16-29
- African based Citizen
- Available from 23-28 November 2020
- Ready to go out there and make an impact
The steering committee will select 15 youth per country.
