Applications are now open for the 2015 YouthfulCities Global Summit are open! The inaugural YouthfulCities Global Summit will take place in Toronto, winner of the most Youthful City of 2014, on April 27th – May 1st 2015.

YouthfulCities is a global social initiative working to rank the world’s top cities from a youth (age 15 to 29) perspective. The project has involved over 1500 youth participants from around the world, culminating in the development of the YouthfulCitiesINDEX, which ranks cities from the youth perspective.

Currently, YouthfulCities is operating in 25 of the large urban centres worldwide and collecting data on 80 indicators, grouped into 16 categories ranging from public space, transportation and affordability to employment and political participation.

YouthfulCities Summit is searching for urban influencers and innovators from around the world who are setting the agenda for the future to join us for a 5-day interactive showcase and to celebrate the launch of the 2015 YouthfulCitiesINDEX.

• As a delegate you will bring your local expertise and passion to the summit.
• There will be site visits, inspiring speakers and a series of hack-a-thons on key urban issues to put your creativity to the test.
• Together, delegates will innovate solutions for some of the world’s biggest challenges!

Cost:

Meals, Accommodation and Inner-City Transportation would be paid for by the organizers but you may be required to raise funds to travel to Toronto if the Organizers are not able to raise funds for you
