Application Deadline: February 8th 2015
International Citizen Service (ICS) is a once-in-a-lifetime volunteering opportunity open to all young people between the ages of 18 to 25-year, backed by the UK government.
You don’t need cash or qualifications, just the motivation to make a difference.
It gives you the chance to work side-by-side with local volunteers in developing countries, to make a meaningful contribution to fighting poverty, and to gain valuable skills that will stay with you long after the 12-week placement is complete.
The International Citizen Service (ICS) is demanding but hugely rewarding – both in its own right and as a stepping stone to future job opportunities and to help you play a part in making your world a better place
How to apply from outside the UK
If you’re not a UK, EU or EEA citizen, you may be able to take part in ICS if there are programmes running in your country. Some of our programmes accept volunteer applications from across the country, while others only accept volunteer applications from ICS placement regions
Take a look at the contacts map to see where there are ICS opportunities where you live.
