The United Nations Foundation has announces that it will host its sixth annual reporting fellowship in New York, to coincide with the UN General Assembly, the Sustainable Development Goals Summit, and the 2015 Social Good Summit.

What:

The fellowship will provide journalists with the latest information on pressing global development issues, giving them the ability to hear directly from top UN, government, and business leaders, and unparalleled access to experts and activists on climate, equality, and global health.

Whom:

  • With support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the fellowship is designed to foster participants’ understanding and facilitate reporting of the issues surrounding international development, climate change and global health.
  • Fellows will participate in on- and off-the-record issue briefings, roundtables, and conversations with experts and high-level officials.
  • This fellowship is intended for reporters who do not have regular access to key UN experts, but are interested in global issues, climate change, international development, and the United Nations. Special consideration will be given to journalists whose portfolios include climate change or foreign affairs.
