2015 SAWISE Angus Scholarships for female students from sub-Saharan Africa.

The Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering (SAWISE) is awarding scholarship for black female from sub-Saharan Africa. Scholarship is awarded only for studies at Honours level (or 4th year equivalent e.g. in engineering) in any field of science and engineering.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • A sub-Saharan black female.
  • Must have achieved 70% or above grade average in her subject of study.
  • Only for studies at Honours level (or 4th year equivalent e.g. in engineering).
  • In any field of science and engineering.

Eligible Countries:

Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Congo (Democratic Republic), Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe

Applications for these scholarships must include copies of the following:
1. Curriculum vitae.
2. An official academic transcript (record).
3. A letter of motivation (~350 words).
4. A certified copy of your ID.
5. A completed online application form.
