2015 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) ImpactLabs Summer Camp, Nigeria

2015 Themes: Health, Sanitation, and Agriculture

ImpactLabs is an initiative launched by students and graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University in 2014. This year, the programme is joined by the Technology Innovation Labs (TIL) of Bells University, Ota, Nigeria.

The Program bring varied expertise in engineering design, software, and biomedical engineering. During the 2015 summer camp, the participants will gain hands-on experience combining techniques in software and engineering design into real-life technology in health, agriculture and/or sanitation. These projects are expected to be of immediate impact and relevance to a community in Nigeria.

This year’s program is scheduled to take place August 10-21, 2015 at Bells University, Ota, Ogun State. It is residential and free.

Eligibility

  • Resides in Nigeria
  • Currently in an academic level anywhere between S.S 1 (high school) and 300 level (university).
  • All concentrations are welcome.
  • Applicants with an interest in engineering, computer science, health and business are encouraged to apply.
