LEAP’s Youth Leadership Programme is modeled after international best practices and emerging lessons from Ford Foundation’s youth leadership efforts across the globe.
This year’s “LEAD THE WAY,” has been established to empower youth to understand and achieve their full leadership potential. It will serve as a platform for youth to step out of their comfort zone. It is also LEAP’s prerogative to motivate youth to understand that leadership and social change begins with them through this programme.
Participants will be able to examine their core values and beliefs, and move forward collectively toward creating change in their communities. The programme will hold in two streams- Easter and Summer of 2015.
WHO TO ATTEND
Youth ages between 13 – 18
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the course of the programme, participants will interact with different activities and will acquire knowledge geared at understanding how to be ideal models of social change in their communities. Programme sessions include;
- The Act and Art of Leadership, Patriotism, and trust walk, communications,
- Connecting to Our Inner selves/Self Portrait, Leadership Game, and Leadership for Change,
- Developing a Personal Mission Statement, Visioning and Goal Setting,
- The Values Game, Creativity, Moral Ethics, Curbing Corruption and Social Responsibility.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
