tvebiomovies is a film competition now in its fifth year, and open to everyone around the world with access to a camera. You could receive US$300 to produce a one-minute film about the environment. Which bit of the environment? Choose a category and decide. Your film could be funny or serious, an animation, a drama or a documentary.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Renewable Energy Prize
Films in this category will imaginatively address the question:
- What does renewable energy mean to you and how can it help the world?

The INBAR Prize for bamboo and rattan
Films in this category will address the following questions:
- Is bamboo the construction material for the 21st Century?
- Why should you buy bamboo and rattan products? What can you do with it?
- How can bamboo help to restore degraded lands?

The WWF-UK Prize for a World With a Future
Films in this category will address the following questions:
- What does our world mean to you? And why is it worth protecting?
- We all have a part to play in looking after our planet. What’s yours?
- Who or what inspires you to protect nature?
How do I enter?
Choose one of our three categories and think how you might make a one-minute film. Send us a proposal about the film you would like to make using our online form before 23.00 GMT 25 August 2014. Pitches will only be accepted in English, French, Russian or Spanish.
A judging panel will select the best nine proposals and provide funding of US$300 to help you make your film. Funding will only be awarded on delivery of the film.
The deadline for the delivery of the final nine films is 14 October 2014.
