The awards consists of $1,000 USD cash as well as a letter of recognition from one of the deans of the Minerva Schools. Up to five Entrants will be awarded the Extraordinary Achievement Award for Africa.
The Minerva Schools offer a unique, four-year undergraduate education to the brightest, most motivated students in the world.
The 2014 Minerva Schools at KGI Institute Extraordinary Achievement Award Contest for Africa (“Contest”) is a competition for high achieving students applying to the Minerva Schools to be recognized for extraordinary accomplishment.
The Extraordinary Achievement Award for Africa
Minerva Schools will offer the Extraordinary Achievement Award to up to five (5) extraordinary university-bound high school students who personify Minerva’s ethos as exemplified through an outstanding accomplishment.
In addition to the distinguished honor and recognition of receiving this award from the world’s most selective American university, recipients of the Extraordinary Achievement Award will receive a $1,000 USD cash scholarship to further their goals and a letter of recognition from one of our deans.
ELIGIBILITY
- Any person who wishes to enter the Contest to win the Extraordinary Achievement Award for Africa (the “Award”) must be eligible for Fall 2015 matriculation in the Minerva Schools at Keck Graduate Institute (“Minerva Schools”).
- Entrants must be sixteen (16) years of age or older no later than 11:59 p.m. on October 10, 2014 and actively seeking to matriculate as a candidate for a bachelor’s degree for the 2015 academic year.

- Be 16 years of age or older by October 10, 2014
- Be eligible to matriculate at an undergraduate university in Fall 2015*
A list of Award recipients shall be published on the Authorized Contest Website at http://learn.minerva.kgi.edu/Africa.html starting on or around January 31, 2015.
